Instructions

• Enter your Preferred Inspection Date. This is not a binding appointment.
• Enter your Name and Email Address.
• Enter the Inspection Address and Zip Code.
• The Age of the House and Square Footage, if not known, can be obtained online from county appraisal district website using their property search tab. See the Appraisal District links below.
• Enter the number of Dwellings. A single family residence is one dwelling. A duplex is two, a triplex is three, etc. A garage apartment counts as an additional dwelling. So if there is a place to sleep, a bathroom, and cooking facilities, count it as an additional dwelling. Therefore, a 100 unit apartment is 100 dwellings.
• Select the Foundation Type from the drop down list.
• Enter the Number of Air Conditioners. The Number of Air Conditioners generally refers to the number of thermostats. A zoned system counts as 2, but window unit counts as 0.
• Just enter the inspection address and calculator will calculate the distance.
• Some new construction homes may not have the coordinates in the database and the distance will not be calculated. If so, the distance can be determined with Google Maps. Just enter “H92H+2X2 San Antonio, Texas” in the search box. Then click on “Directions” and enter the address of the property to be inspected. Enter the distance in the Mileage Charge Calculator to find the charge.
